The Rise of the Far Right

Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sealed his return to power, with final votes tallied from elections this week giving him and his far-right allies a clear majority in Parliament. A coalition led by right-wing ex-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has won the most seats in the 120-seat Parliament, or Knesset, allowing former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to retake power. 

Netanyahu will return to office as head of what is widely expected to be the most right-wing government in Israels 74-year history. Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus Likud Party and his far-right, religious allies secured a convincing victory in the Israeli elections
